Looking back! Looking forth, now Verve is a thirTEENager!

In this edition of Youths Take Over, experience fresh and spirited perspectives on the life and persona of Natasha, the name of Singapore Biennale 2022 and Natasha’s life journey of perpetual liminality.

Verve 2021 took a different approach due to Covid-19 and became an online interactive festival. Verve introduced three year-round programmes aimed at students, “Artbytes”, “Open Studio”, and “ARTicles”.

With the theme this year being ‘TENacity’… Verve aims to examine how our own community has coped to showcase their everyday artistic expression of living, learning, and their hope for the future.

During the 6th edition, Verve marks its milestone as it rebrands itself as a community art festival. Verve 2016 seeks to explore the relationship between different generations in Singapore, and rekindle the forgotten bonds.

Not only that, Verve 2016 aimed to raise $2000 which was donated to Fei Yue Senior Activity Centre!

2011 marks the 1st edition of Verve, that is held in the Art House. It was titled as A.C.I.D, which stands for Artistic Celebration In Diversity - a youth-based celebration of the fusion of performing and visual arts.
